Sandro Lucchini 12 Gauge sidelock ejector with 28 1/4" [72 cm.] F/M chopper lump ejector barrels with 3" chambers. Raised file cut matted rib with small silver front bead. Bores measure .723 right and left. Choked .019 right and .042 left. "S. Lucchini Italy" inlayed in gold on the left barrel. Holland & Holland type 7-pin bar action sidelock with cocking indicators and bushed strikers. French Silver reciever with 85% coverage rose and scroll and game scene engraving signed by Claudio Cremini. Mallards on the left, flushing woodcock on the right and Pointer with flushing quail on the floorplate. Stocked in outstanding English Walnut with excellent color and contrast with dark contrasting lines. Reciever drop points and 32 LPI checkering. Vacant stock oval. LOP is 14 3/4" to a checkered butt. Neutral cast. DAC-1 1/4" DAH-2 1/8" 7lb 7oz This is an extremely nice piece by one of Italy's premier gunmakers. They only make 10-20 guns per year. Mr. Cremini is a highly respected engraver. It does have a few handling marks on the stock but otherwise like new. I do not think it has been hunted.
