Description:
Great youth rifle. Purchased in 1971 for my 14th birthday, so it is classified as a Curio and Relic Packed away for the last 50 years.
18" barrel, 36" overall length, 4 lb. Very seldom used. It fires, ejects and cocks the action as intended. I cleaned it thoroughly with Hoppe's gun cleaner and lubricator, then tested it. 99% finish grooved for scope.
The rifling inside the bore is incredibally good. Outside of barrel has small rust spots througout, inside the bore is clean. Inside of register where the firing pin assembly goes is very scratched. It doesn't affect the movement though and it works properly. Just comsmetic. (see photos)
Shipping cost is dependant on where it's going but USPS has told me, as a firearm, signature is required for $3.65 and the size of the box (42"), even though I broke the rifle down into two pieces is considered non-standard so they charge a $15 fee. I had them quote from NE to KS and it was $12.90 Priority and $12.70 retail ground. So it's going to be at least $35 and more depending on the zone.
A C&R dealer can accept delivery without going though an FFL dealer because of the age of the gun.
I can take it to the PO when I find out where it's going and quote you a complete price with shipping before you send payment.
