Description:
Stag Arms STAG-15 cambered in 5.56 NATO. This rifle has a 16-inch barrel made of 4140 steel. The twist rate is 1:9 inches. It follows the government profile and sports a manganese-phosphate coating. The muzzle device is an A2 flash hider. The lower has a six-position collapsible stock. The fire selector, or safety switch, and magazine release were standard Mil-Spec types, and the pistol grip was a standard A2-style unit made of toothy checkered polymer. The trigger is Mil-Spec single stage. The rifle has flip-up Diamondhead sights. This rifle has gas-piston system that uses propellant gases that are channeled into a cylinder-and-piston configuration. The gas moves the piston rearward, which pushes the bolt carrier to cycle the mechanism. This system keeps the bolt-carrier group cool and clean. 5.56x45mm NATO
