"British Enfield .577 Snider caliber rifle. British Snider Conversion of a 2-Band Enfield rifle. Caliber is .577 Snider. Lock is dated 1866. Bore has strong rifling with pitting. Metal has brown patina with areas of protected blue. Wood is very good, no cracks. Very good overall condition.
