Stevens Ideal No 414 Armory .22 LR caliber rifle. No 414 Armory model manufactured 1912-1932. 26” barrel with a Tang peep sight. Bore is excellent. Receiver has vivid case colors. Stock is excellent with a few minor nicks. Excellent overall condition. A very fine model 414 Armory model. This is the best I’ve Seen.
Our Assessment: Heavy barrel with the two line J. Stevens Arms Company address marking on right side and "22-L R" on the left. Blade front, adjustable receiver sight. Action has an "S" shaped lever. Straight grip stock with single barrel band, and hard rubber buttplate. Stock: walnut
Condition: Excellent. The barrel retains over 99% original blue finish. The action retains 99% original vivid case colors. The wood is very fine with the forearm having minor dings. Mechanically excellent.
