This musket is a beautifully adorned gun made for an important Goshute Tribal Police officer, Badge #8.
I have tried to find the individual, with no success. I do know this is a very active tribe from the New Mexico area
on up through to Utah into Montana. I have had it in my collection for many years.
I think it is time to pass it on.
