RARE U.S. COLT GENERAL OFFICER'S MODEL 1908 , CAL. .380 ACP, SER. 135434. THE PRISTINE .380 APPEARS TO BE UNFIRED. IT COMES WITH A "COLT FACTORY LETTER" INDICATING THAT IT WAS ONE OF ONLY 500 SHIPPED TO THE SPRINGFIELD ARSENAL IN NOVEMBER OF 1944. IT HAS RETAINED ABOUT 99.99+% OF THE FACTORY HIGH POLISH COMMERCIAL FINISH. THE ONLY FLAW IS TWO TINY SURFACE BLEMISHES ON THE LEFT SIDE. THE CHECKERED WALNUT COLT MEDALLION GRIPS ARE FLAWLESS, NOT EVEN A FLATTENED POINT. THE GRIP SCREW IS ALSO PERFECT. ALL PARTS MATCH AND ARE ORIGINAL TO THE GUN**. THE LEFY REAR OF THE FRAME SHOWS A THE VERY RARE USE OF THE CROSSED CANNONS ARSENAL STAMP. THE SLIDE RAILS, BOLT FACE AND FEED RAMP SHOW NO USE. THE BORE IS PRISTINE, MIRROR BRIGHT WITH RAZOR SHARP RIFLING NOT A WHISP OF FROST ANYWHERE. IT COMES WITH THE ONE ORIGINAL MAGAZINE. FINALLY, IT COMES WITH A LETTER FROM THE ESTATE OF BRIG. GEN.
