Description:
Daniel Fraser & Company Boxlock Double Rifle chambered in the powerful 9.3mmx74R. Established in 1878 in the city of Edinburgh, Fraser has become one of the foremost Scottish rifle makers. This side-by-side rifle features 27-inch solid rib barrels with a blued finish and a band of engraving at the breach. The color casehardened receiver has double triggers, and tang mounted safety switch with additional bolted safety. The wood furniture has a pistol grip stock with tear drop flats, cheekpiece, inscription oval with a hand inside a sun motif, and red rubber recoil pad. The steel has been professionally re-blued and there is a small filler repair by the lower tang on the right side. There also appears to be a refilled hole for a sling swivel behind the existing swivel. Includes a leather-bound takedown case with "M.E." on the lid and "9.3" in white paint on one end. Also includes two snap caps and a leather sling. 9.3x74R
