Description:
Browning Superposed “Exhibition” 4-barrel skeet set.  12, 20, 28 gauges and .410 bore 28” barrels.  From the first glance at the photos of this set, it is quite obvious that this is a very special and very extraordinary gun!

Made in 1974 the set was acquired by Angelo Bee as a Grade 1 set then Angelo did his magic!  Adding the side plates, installing a European style gold trigger and hand filing the ribs…then adding his amazing game scene engraving featuring magnificently detailed birds:   gold mallards on the left side, gold grouse on the right side and a woodcock on the bottom all high-lighted with beautiful gold wire and all on perfectly detailed backgrounds.  Also notice that the tops of all the barrels are embellished with gold wire work and each gauge in detailed with inlaid gold.

The dark/nicely grained stock and forearm were made for the gun with fine checkering and ribbon borders.

The stock has a 14 ½” LOP over the thin Sporting Clays style recoil pad.  There is 1 3/8” DAC and 1 5/8” DAH with neutral cast.  Regardless of which barrel in on the gun it weighs 8 lbs. 2 oz. and balances right between the hands.

All four barrels are fix choked with Skeet constriction chokes.  The set is case in the correct Browning luggage case and the set remains in 98%+ overall condition.

It was purchased from Angelo about 25 years ago and has remained in the collection of an advanced Browning collector until this listing.
