On Hold Sale Pending US model 1841 Mississippi rifle. The lock is marked US E Whitney, N Haven 1850 and functions fine. The full length barrel has front and rear sights. The dark walnut stock is in very good condition. The lock and barrel have a dark brown patina. V the patch box and other parts are brass. The but plate is marked US. The 54 caliber bore has good rifling but needs cleaning.. overal a very good Mississippi rifle. The ram rod is present but is missing the sling swivels.
