Remington and Sons in the 1860s, the Rolling Block was in use by militaries, hunters, and target shooters into 20th Century. The Rolling Block's special lock system resulted in its being one of the safest and subsequently used around the world. The faithful reproduction by Pedersoli in Italy features a 30-inch octagonal barrel and Creedmoor adjustable sight. .45-70 Government
