Description:
This Steyr Mannlicher Model M has a light walnut stock with a raised cheek piece and skipline checkering and white line spacers. It has a rosewood grip cap with a white diamond insert and a rosewood cap on the forend. It has the original Steyr recoil pad and sling swivels. The 23 5/8" barrel is hammer forged with a twisted look and open sights. It has a butter knife bolt and Steyr adjustable single trigger. The flush-fit rotary magazine holds five rounds. This is a great gun. The walnut stock is in excellent condition, except that it does have the varnish worn off in places. See photos. The barrel and bluing are near perfect. This is a classic rifle in a classic caliber that needs to be in the woods. .30-06 Springfield
