"Serial number 29095. Made in the late 1860s. 50 caliber with a 32 ½" barrel. This gun as in beautiful condition. The barrel has most of the blue and frame has most of the case colors. Wood is excellent with a nice sharp ESA cartouche. There were just over 1100 guns that were converted at the Springfield Arsenal in 1871. Very fine Spencer Infantry Rifle modified by Springfield Arsenal!
