Description:
NSN, .22 Short and Long, 18" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a neat little rifle that has traces of original blue remaining on the barrel and integral receiver, and the balance turned to a mellow plum-brown patina, with a spot of dark brown freckling on the underside of the barrel just ahead of the forend. The bolt has the original bright finish remaining, with some mild brown freckling on the cocking-piece. The gumwood stock is in very good shape, with small handling marks scattered about the surface, and there is a period flip-up tang sight installed on the wrist. This is a very nice example of a desirable Winchester boys’ rifle, and is in very good-near fine condition. FFL or C&R
