Description:
Serial #1025359, .32 Win. Spl., 26" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a 1927-made rifle that has retained 85-90% of the original blue along the barrel and magazine tube, with some silvering at the muzzle, spots of plum-brown freckling on either side, and some gray fading at the breech, around the roll-markings. The frame has been cleaned to mostly bright gray, with minor surface scratches and spots of mild freckling scattered throughout, and traces of original blue can still be seen on the protected areas of the lever. The walnut forend and buttstock are in very good shape, with some minor handling marks scattered about the fine reapplied oil finish. The action is tight and fully functional. This is a very good-fine example of a between-the-wars Model 94 rifle. FFL or C&R
