E M Reilly & Co. Baby Martini sporter in 22LR. Built in the 1890s it has a 26" barrel, a matt top rib, 2 folding leaf sights and a silver bead front. The barrel has a smooth exterior finish with strong blue and excellent rifling. It has been relined and has 4 plugged holes in the top rib for a scope base. The receiver has a tang sight mounted that folds so all sights can be used. The right side has a lever safety and a cocking indicator lever. It is engraved "E.M. Reilly & Co.". The left side has "Martini's Patent" in a disc with the balance of the receiver in a engraved matt pattern. The action is smooth and locks smartly with no play or wobble. The stock is sound with no cracks or checks and only has a few small dents. It is well checkered with very little wear. Full wrap around checkering on the forend with a horn forend tip. 14 3/8" LOP to a steel buttplate.
