Description:
One of the finest, holster and belt rigs made for a Colt single action revolver from the shop of the infamous Arvo Ojala Hollywood, CA. He supplied most of the hollywood actors with gun rigs of the 1950's-60's, Audie Murphy, Robert Fuller, Sammy Davis Jr. etc.... Very elaborate (filigreed) two tone, Black and gold scalloped leather, with beautiful hand carved floral tooling. The overall condition is excellent, and shows very little to no use. Made in the late 50's to early 1960's. The Buckles and billet tips are hand engraved sterling silver and so marked, very likely supplied by Bohlin of Hollywood.The belt holds 30 .45cal. dummy cartridges. The belt measures approx. 43" in length, 39" to the last hole on the billet. Will fit a 4 3/4" or 5 1/2" Colt SAA. Pictured is a 5 1/2" Colt SAA for fitment only and is NOT included. Comes with an autographed original matted poster to the original owner from Arvo Ojala. Definitely one of the best, if not the best, Arvo Ojala holster and belt rigs ever produced!!
