The finest production revolver ever made.
The Colt Python was first introduced in 1955 as Colt's top-of-the-line model. The gun pictured here was made in 1966. Pythons produced from 1955 to 1969 have no letter in the serial number and are the most desirable to collectors. This 1966 Colt Python revolver Nickel with 6" barrel in 357 magnum! Puchased this Colt new in 1967.The gun is in overall very good condition. The Nickel is very good, no cracks nor flaking. Perfect timing and lock up. The action is smooth and crisp as you would expect to find in an early Colt Python!
The bore is outstanding, and so are the chambers. The grips are original, No box!
