PRICE CUT !!! This is a 39-A with case color built the first year of production, in1939. Serial
number 1637 probably first 2 or 3 months !
Take just a minute and think about this. The 39-A originally started as a
model 1891 then later became the 1892 and then later became the1897
which then lasted till 1921 when it became the model 39. It finally became the 39-A in 1939
and is still being built !!.
This gun is world famous and is considered the finest .22 caliber lever action rifle ever !
It's the best selling lever action .22 in US history.
This little gal is in very good condition. The Case Color is really good as is all the blueing.
The wood finish is also really good. It shows only the smallest of handling marks .
That ain't bad for a gun at age 82. Doesn't look near her age!
She is mechanically A-1 and the bore is also.
