Description:
For sale is a Colt pistol delivered on July 24, 1942 to the US Navy Supply Depot in Oakland, CA in support of the Pacific War. See attached Colt letter for shippment details.
Pistol has matching numbered slide and receiver. Correct Colt large G barrel and checkered small parts. Flaming bomb emblem and G stamped on receiver near disconnector hole. Coltwood grips with hollow back and mold numbers. Colt magazine unmarked with pinned base. Original parkerized finish showing some patina.. High edge wear consistent with holstering in M1916 style holster.
