Description:
This DWM 1895 Mauser Carbine manufactured for Chile's military was originally chambered in 7x57mm Mauser. Some were later converted to 7.62 NATO by boring out the barrel to .30 caliber, boring out the old chamber and brazing a .308 Winchester chamber insert. This rifle has been re-blued, the action drilled and tapped for scope mounting plus had the bolt altered to clear a scope. .308 Winchester
