Outstanding example of the EXTREMELY rare Super Grade Featherweight in .243 Win. caliber. This is THE rarest style of any Model 70 ever created. They were produced in just 4 calibers with only 260 of the .243s in existence! S/N 410*** with matching scribed bolt made in 1957. All original finishes showing 97% Blue with a few light nicks/scratches on the barrel and a slight ghosting on rear receiver bridge from previusly mounted scope base, 99% perfect wood. Even the fragile aluminum components of floorplate, trigger guard and buttplate look virtually new. All of the usual Super Grade characteristics along with other unique features of this very special style are present and correct, including proper Redfield front sight and swivels. A fabulous addition to any collection.
