This Colt MK IV Series 70 is from 1973. This model of the Colt 1911 is considered as the gussied-up from M1911 A1 model, and this only lasted from 1970 to 1983 when they came out with a new model. On the grips, there is a golden medallion with the colt name and horse on there. The metal and grips on in really condition, and everything works smoothly on this 1911. .45 Auto
