This Smith & Wesson Victory .38 is in outstanding condition for its age. This gun was produced from 1942-1945 during and for WWII. The British version was a .38 S &W, while the American version was a .38 special. This gun is stamped .38 S & W. Many of the British guns have been re chambered to a .38 special. Metal is in good shape and possible grips are not original as most guns came with smooth grips. .38 Special
