Description:
The left side of the barrel is marked "PYTHON .357 / * .357 MAGNUM CTG. *". The right side of the barrel is marked "COLT'S PT. F.A. MFG. CO. / HARTFORD, CONN. U.S.A.". The flat under the crane and the crane are marked with the serial number. The left sideplate is marked with a "Rampant Colt" logo. The left front of the trigger guard is marked with "VP" in a triangle and at the rear with "E". This revolver has a square notched rear sight adjustable for windage and elevation that is pinned to the top strap of the frame. The front sight is a serrated ramp blade, pinned to the top of the rib. The top of the barrel rib and top strap have a matte black finish to reduce glare. The grips are oversized checkered walnut that enclose the front strap and the bottom of the grip frame, exposing the serrated back strap, the upper portions have gold-colored logo medallions. The gun does show finish wear at the muzzle and on the sides of the full under lug. The frame shows some finish edge wear at the front sides. The front sides of the cylinder and flutes also show edge wear. .357 Magnum
