Description:
Colt Python manufactured in 1981. Markings and features: The left side of the barrel is marked "PYTHON 357 / *357 MAGNUM CTG*", the right side is marked "COLT'S PT. F.A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD, CONN. U.S.A.", the left side plate has Colt's rampant logo, the left front of the trigger guard is marked " " in triangle, and "y" on the rear portion. The crane and crane cut have the serial number. The grips are checkered walnut stocks with gold-colored rampant Colt logo medallions. 8" barrel with full underlug and ventilated rib. The front sight is a blued serrated ramp blade that is pinned fore to aft into the ventilated rib, the rear sight is a flat top, square notched leaf set in a base that is adjustable for windage and elevation; the base of the rear sight is slotted and pinned into the frame. This Colt Python is in exception condition and appears near new. .357 Magnum
