We normally ship USPS Priority Mail which should be 2-day ship. Shipping is actual cost with a minimum of $30.00 for pistols and $50.00 for rifles/shotguns to ship to most of the 48 contiguous states. Shipping to Alaska may require an extra fee. The AP5 is one of Century Arms newest iterations of the legendary MP5 submachine gun. Shown here is the mid-size model, the AP5-P. While not as small as the AP5-M, the AP5-P is still much shorter in overall length than the standard AP5. There are multiple versions of the AP5-P imported by Century Arms. As mentioned in the title, this is SKU HG6035AB-N. It comes with a hard case, one 30-round magazine, an SB Tactical addon brace, and a manual. It does not come with the picatinny rail or second magazine. This allows the price to be significantly less than the standard AP5-P model, or SKU HG6035B-N. It would be interesting to know if the “A” in HG6035AB-N stands for “Austere”. The AP5 is based on the famous MP5 sub-machine gun of 1964, and used all over the world having been adopted by 40 nations and numerous military and law enforcement organizations. The MP5 achieved iconic status in 1980 when used by the British special forces regiment the SAS during Operation Nimrod to storm the Iranian Embassy in London, rescuing hostages and killing five terrorists. This was actually done on live television. While this version does not come with a picatinny kit in the box, the AP5-P will accept almost any aftermarket parts for the AP5. As such, a picatinny mount is still an option. With a picatinny kit installed, any optic can be mounted on the AP5. A red dot sight is recommended. Fully kitted out, the AP5 would make an excellent home-defense gun. This pistol is brand new in the box, but there are a couple of factory errors. The trigger exhibits some chips in the finish though these are quite small. The second issue is a small silver spot on the magazine well on the right side of the frame. Otherwise, this AP5-P appears exactly as it should.
