WOW!! DWM LUGER P.08, (RIG) CAL. 9MM SER. 8354. THIS "P-08" WAS PART OF THE VERY FIRST CONTRACT P.08 DELIVERED TO THE GERMAN MILITARY IN "1908". THAT'S WHERE IT GOT IT'S NAME. FOR THE GUY WITH A LIMITED BUDGET THAT WANTS A WORKING LUGER WITH A HISTORY THIS IT. THIS "P-08 "HAS BEEN THERE AND DONE THAT". IT HAS RETAINED ABOUT 55% OF THE ORIGINAL FINISH. THE BULK OF THE LOSS IS DUE TO PIN PRICKS ON THE BARREL, SOME WEAR AND FADING ON THE REST OF THE GUN. IT TRULY LOOKS LIKE IT WENT THRU TWO WARS. ALL PARTS MATCH EXCEPT THE BOLT ASSEMBLY. THE FRONT GRIP STRAP HAS THE MILITARY MARKING "74. R.8.2." FOR THE 74TH REG'T., INV. 8.2. THE GRIPS ARE REALLY NICE, THE ONLY BLEMISH IS THE LEFT ONE HAS THE USUAL SMALL CHIP UNDER THE SAFETY LEVER. YOU WILL NOTE THE STOCK LUG IS MISSING. THESE DID NOT APPEAR UNTIL 1913. THE GUN FUNCTIONS CORRECTLY. THE BORE IS REALLY GREAT MIRROR BRIGHT WITH SHARP WELL DEFINED RIFLING AND A WHISP OF SCATTERED FROST. IT COMES WITH A HIGH QUALITY REPRO HOLSTER, ONE ORIGINAL MAGAZINE AND ONE REPRO MAGAZINE AND A TAKEDOWN TOOL. A GREAT FIND FOR THE GUY WHO WANTS A REAL LUGER FOR FUN AT THE CAMP OR AT THE NEXT RE-ENACTMENT AND DOESN'T WANT TO SELL THE FARMTO GET IT, VALUE PRICED AT WAS $1895... NOW $1595.***
