Up for sale is a used Chinese M53 Rifle (7.62 x 54R), This item has a 20” barrel, side folding bayonet and wood stocks. The bore looks very dark to the naked eye and rifling can barely be seen, Inspection with a bore scope shows heavy pitting throughout the length of the barrel. The blueing shows light scratches and wear in the finish as well as some freckling on the bolt & handle. The stocks show the typical scratches, dings and scrapes that would be expected on a surplus rifle. The numbers on the barrel, bolt, bottom metal & butt plate all match.
