This Lee-Enfield 2A1 7.62x51mm NATO carbine was manufactured Rifle Factory Ishapore in 1967. It was modified by the importer to look somewhat like a No.5 Mk 1 Jungle Carbine. It's a nice carbine chambered for, the easy to find, .308 Winchester cartridge. .308 Winchester
