J.C. Higgins Model 34 / Sears 583 - 3402 - Semi - Auto .22 Rifle - Smooth 2 piece walnut pistol grip style stock with coup and extended forend. 24 in. long barrel , 41.75 in . overall length. Butt plate in excellent condition. Open rear adj. sight and a front blade sight. Tubular magazine capable of holding 24 Short, 19 Long and 17 Long Rifle ammo. ( Must be Hi Velocity ) Bore is clean and bright. Barrel and receiver are retaining approx. 95% bluing. Receiver grooved for scope. Includes a period correct Bauch & Lomb model GV 9813 made in Rochester, NY. with Weaver rings in very good condition with clear lens. Stock and forend are in very good condition with minimal handling marks . Overall condition is excellent for it's age . Rare, early model between 1964 to 1967, as it has model 34 stamped as well as Sears name and model number 583-3402 and Ted Williams stamped. Manufactured for Sears by Hi - Standard . Super find for J.C. Higgins / Sears collectors. SOLD.
