Description:
SOLD Pending receipt of funds. Thank you David. 1885 Winchester Low Wall single shot rifle chambered in .32 Rimfire (Short) in very good to excellent condition with a good bore. This rifle is an antique (1889 manufacture) and chamered in a cartridge no longer available, so does not requre an FFL or C&R to receive it. The buttstock is very good except for an old repair at the wrist. See photos attached.
Note: with a somewhat laborious effort, a C. Sharps Arms modern center-fire breechblock assembly can be fitted to add the capability to fire .32 Short Colt ammunition in this rifle. Buffalo Arms has brass, heel-base bullet molds and dies. Since this does not alter the factory breechblock and is without permanent modifications to the rifle, it can be readily restored to original condition. .32 Short Colt ammunition is also not readily available through normal commercial channels.
