Supurb pair of HW Mortimer Dueling pistols. Smoothbore 9" octagonal twist steel barrels. Bores in excellent condition. Bore diameter is .496. Barrel flats measure .825. Mortimer was a best quality London maker. The address on the barrel was occupied by Mortimer in the period 1884 to 1822. Original assecories that are individually fitted to the mahogany case. The custom fit case is so precise that despite this being a matched pair each gun must be placed in its own location. Checkered walnut stocks with horn forend tip. No cracks to wood. No replaced parts or accessories. No repairs. Fully functional and ready for your next duel just add powder and percussion caps!
