***************SOLD****************Truly the most breathtaking and exceptional Browning BAR rifle I've ever seen or heard of! For your consideration a truly fantastic BAR in 7mm Mag Caliber made in 1973. This exceptional work of art is decorated to the very highest degrees in all aspects. Stocks are spectacularly relief carved in floral and scroll patterns with punch dot shading which becomes more and more complex the further it is studied. The coin finished action is engraved in exceptional relief scroll and is finely polished in coin finished much like an "BU" graded silver coin! The gun is signed at the back of the top of the frame boldly "L. Vranken G. Marechal". The engraving found on this gun is of Diana Goddess of the hunt pattern and done in magnificent bulino style where every detail on the dogs and Diana can be seen - as seen in the photos. The quality of the engraving cannot be overstated with the complexity and level of detail being unsurpassed on anything I have seen on a Belgian made Browning!!!
The gun is housed in its original case which remains in near mint original condition.
Overall, the gun remains in "as new" original condition having been factory test fired only. The stocks are as new with virtually all of their original finish. Coin finished action is superb and the gun shows virtually no wear in any way. Barrel blue is as new original and bore is brilliant and shiny. Mechanics are crisp.
