Description:
Merkel over/under 20 guage 203E in very good condition. Has side lock ejector with 28" barrels, 3 inch chamber, solid top rib. 14.5 in LOP, right hand cast, modified and improved cylinder choke. "Gebruder Merkel Suhl" engraved on the barrel and body made in 1960. The body is intricately engraved with a hunting scene and coin finish. Single inertia trigger with barrel selector on the right side of the trigger blade and a push button safety on the top of the tang. Walnut stock with european straight grip. beautiful engraving on the wood shows the quality of the German Merkel brand. There is a small repaired chip on the but stock and the but plate shows some wear.
