Description:
SOLD

I am selling one of my match built and conditioned M1 Garand rifles. This one was built by Derrick Martin of Accuracy Speaks in Arizona. I am selling in order to feed my CZ 27 addiction, er, collection.

Price: $SOLD obo.  If you are familiar with match conditioned M1 rifles, you know that the cost to build a rear-lugged, fully match conditioned rifle is $4,000-$5,000. You simply cannot buy a more accurate M1 anywhere for the price I am offering on this one.

Feel free to make me an offer.  The worst I can say is "no, thank you".

The rifle is rear lugged, chambered in .308 Winchester, has a Douglas barrel, laminate stock, bedded, unitized handguards, 4.5 lbs trigger that breaks like a candy cane, all parts that can be NM are NM, and all other tweaks a tricks that National Match builders learned over 50+ years. This rifle, with the right shooter, is Camp Perry competitive. See pictures for condition. I also have many more pictures upon request.

(The blue tape with “Do Not Hold Here” is to prevent someone from grabbing the rifle by the unitized hand guards)

Alas, I am not that shooter. My eyes are too old, my back hurts too much, it takes me too long to sling up prone, the firing line would have to wit for me too long to stand up again, and my knees crack so loudly the Range Officer looks around to see who is still firing.

Ok, maybe a bit of exaggeration, but the rifle is built for a competitor, and as much as I wanted to be that guy when I bought the rifle, the disappointing truth is that I’m not that guy.

It is no exaggeration that if you have the ability, you can go High Master with this rifle and show the guys with the Mattel Toys what can be done with America’s last great Main Battle Rifle.

The rifle has been shot no more than a handful of times, and is functionally and cosmetically as when Derrick Martin finished it.

Possible Trades: I’m not really looking for trades, but feel free to suggest something. I still “need” a high condition: (1) wartime PPK, (2) Radom Vis 35; (3) Webley Mk VI .455; (4) Tokarev TT-33; (5) Beretta 1931; (6) Beretta 1935 Navy; (7) various Unit a marked CZ 24s; (8) CZ 22; (9) various CZ 27s; (10) US Property marked 1911A1; (11) Femaru Model 29; (12) GM Guidelamp “Liberator”; (13) Inglis High Power; (14) early, high polish Walther P.38; (15) Type 14 Nambu (20.4 or later); (16) possibly others. [Im not suggesting that these suggestions are a 1-to-1 trade, as most are not].

Payment by Money Order, PayPal friends and family (with the “what is this for” blank), check on major bank (must clear before shipping).

I will ship to an FFL (including C&R). Buyer to pay shipping and insurance. I had my FFL ship another match built M1 a few days ago, and for 2nd day air it was $115, including insurance on the full sales price.
