Payment Types Accepted: Description: On Hold Sale Pending Antique original German Prussian Model 1809 formerly flintlock converted to percussion and made by the SUHL Armory in Thuringia, Germany in 1828. Thousands of German muskets were imported by the Union and confederate army's during the U.S. Civil War. The percussion lock is marked SUHL with the Crown and the hammer sometimes slips. The full length barrel is marked 1828 and is held by 3 brass bands. The but plate is also dated 1828 along with unit or regimental markings. The lock and barrel are a dark blue brown color. The gun is original and complete with sling swivels and original ramrod. There are numerous other markings on many parts . Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
