This is a hammerless lever action rifle that features a unique rotary magazine. This design allowed the rifle to use spitzer bullets that would be dangerous to use in a tube magazine rifle. This rifle, manufactured in 1953, is in very good condition with nice bluing, a solid stock, and a slightly frosty but bright bore. The .300 Savage cartridge is a rimless, .30 caliber rifle cartridge developed in 1920.
