Gun is now sold pending payment. I have a rather unusual Browning A5 Light in my favorite 20 gauge. There are many of these guns out in the public's hands but finding an unfired one is rather difficult but can be had for the right price. What makes this gun rather unusual is the fact that it is, I believe one of the last ones built in Belgium. Common knowledge is that Browning moved production to Japan in 1976, however this gun is marked 76Z as can be seen in the picture attached below. The gun is clearly marked made in Belgium on the barrel and carries the FN butt plate. It also does not have the gold Buckmark emblem on the trigger guard that all Japanese produced guns have. My guess it was one of the last A5's produced in Belgium with the remaining parts before production in Japan began. This particular gun has 26 inch barrel and modified choke with vent rib and one silver end bead. Stock dimensions are 1 1/2 X 2 3/8 X 14 1/4 over the original FN butt plate. Weight of the gun is 6 pounds 10 ounces. The gun shows absolutely no sign of having been fired and was purchased out of a large collection. A look at the bolt face shows no telltale signs of having been fired. Obviously the gun is in beautiful condition with only a couple of light impressions on the stock, probably from storage in a safe. Sadly there is no box with the gun and I have allowed for that in the pricing. Price of this lovely little A5 is $2500 plus $50 shipping to your FFL. As always there is a three day non-firing inspection period with the buyer paying shipping charges if returned. This gun will not disappoint any Browning Collector.
