Description:
Correction...The cockade and wreath have been with the hat a very long time and the green piping looks to be for Mountain Troops or administration. The late war SS eagle has one prong, the other is lost to time .These have been on the hat a very long time as the impression from these devices is visable in the wool and into the capband, It has an original officers chincord, the zinc slides are just visable as shown in the pictures.
The visor is all originsl in good condition with a couple of stains, moth chews and some slight wear, and crazing on the bill.
