Description:
Winchester 1894 in Cal. 25-35 WCF. The 26 inch octagon has a sporting rear sight and flat top elevator adjust. It has a full length magazine. It has a walnut forearm and straight grip stock with a crescent steel buttplate. It was manufactured in 1919. The metal has 90% lightly faded blue showing edge & carry wear. Wood has age darkened appearance showing a few sm. marks & mildew spots. The bore is bright and retains strong rifling. The .25-35 Winchester Center Fire cartridge was valued for its speed, trajectory, and lower recoil. Winchester stopped production of .25-35 rifles in 1955, but ammunition, including Hornady LEVERevolution .25-35 110-grain load, is readily available. .25-35 WCF
