Description:
24 inch round barrel chambered in 44 WCF caliber with full length mag tube and shotgun butt. Very bright shiny excellent bore. Platinum 3 leaf Express rear and silver bead blade front sights. Mag tube retains most of the blue and barrel has turned a mottled blue/brown with good amounts of blue in protected areas. Receiver has about half the shiny blue with the balance brown/gray at the carry point. Hammer and lever have good traces of case colors in protected areas. Walnut stocks fit well and are proud to the metal with just the usual minor dings and handling marks and steel serrated shotgun buttplate. There are London proof marks and a small Century Arms import mark on the barrel. Crisp action and very good bore should make for a fine shooter from this honest looking 1906 vintage Winchester rifle in the desirable 44-40 caliber.
