Description:
SOLD...For sale is a 2nd Generation Colt 1851 Navy "C" Series percussion revolver. The serial number puts the pistol in 1975-1976 year range I believe. The Colt "C" series came before the Colt "F" Series pistols and featured Colt's famous Royal Blue finish as opposed to the dull black bluing on the F series.
The pistol has never been fired but does have some handling marks. It would make an excellent display piece or a fine shooter. The box is incorrect, however, this box has always been with this pistol. It is the wrong box, but the box itself does have some value to someone and could most likely be resold if needed.
