Description:
Fox A Grade in 16 gauge. This is a high condition Philadelphia Gun with the later deep engraving. Weight of the gun is 6 LBS 1/2 OZ. The gun was made on the 20 frame which explains the weight. Barrels are 26" with mirror bores and 2 3/4" chambers. Right bore measures .663 with 4/1000 choke (Skeet or light IC) while left is .659 with 19/1000 choke (Mod). Right barrel reads " Chromax Fluid Compressed Steel" while the left reads "AH Fox Gun Company, Phila, PA, USA". Auto safety. Top lever well right of center, gun is tight on face. Locks up like a bank vault. No loose ribs. No cracks to the wood. Checkering is well defined and sharp. LOP is 14 3/16". Drop at comb - 1 10/32". Drop at heel - 2 3/8". Shipping is $75.
