Description:
Winchester 1876 Deluxe rifle in excellent shape. Made in 1881, this Winchester features a 26" barrel, plain trigger, shotgun butt, and case-hardened frame. All features are confirmed in Cody Firearms Museum Letter that is included. All well-fitted and functional to include the dustcover and loading gate. The standard barrel length for these rifles was 28", with most collectors referring to the 26" with half magazines as an "Express rifle". Also includes a period correct tang mounted sight that needs to be straightened. Some case-hardening is still visible with finish wear and handling marks throughout and faded checkering in the fore-end. Minor cracks around the upper tang. Includes Letter SN: 13574 .45-60 Winchester
