On Hold Sale Pending. This is a very nice US Model 1873 Springfield 45-70 rifle. Full 2 band dark walnut stock is in very good condition. Full 32.5" barrel has both correct 1877 rear and front sights. The breach block is marked US Model 1873. The functioning lock is Markrd U S Springfield with the American eagle. Metal parts retain the majority of blue starting to turn brown in places. It is mechanicaly sound and complete with ramrod and a good old sling. The bore is also very good.
