Barrel is in near mint condition about 98 to 96 % Original finishs as is the magazine tube and the loading tube is near mint as well fits snug. The ORIGINAL Bore is mint as well, very shiney no frosting or pitting,perhaps the best bore I have seen. As for the sights they to are original to this 2nd model and complament the barrel. All the wood in in like new condiiton (displaying bright varnish as well) WOOD WAS CLEANED BUT ORIGINAL to the rifle The recevier is in 95 % condition, bolt and but plate are in 98% condition and all is tight as a new 1890 production rifle ( made July 1898). Case coloring in this kind of condition are a true rarity and sedom found. HOWEVER THE CASE COLOR HAS BEEN RESTORED. THEREFORE I AM DROPING MY PRICE TO $1,650.00 !
