James Purdey & Sons - SxS, 12ga. 28" Barrels Choked IM/IC.
Made in 1913, untouched 2 ½” chamber 28” barrels, 6lbs. 8oz., 14 ¼” LOP to a checkered butt, by 2 3/16”x 1 3/8” no cast, perfect wall thicknesses IM/IC choke. Splinter forend, this gun retains 98% of the original case color with the very very best Rose & Scroll that is sharp and clean as the day it was made. Even retains all the fire blue on the pins, 98% original blue on trigger guard, top lever safety and barrels. This gun is in its original case that has the same initials as on the gun. The case contains all of its original accessories, cleaning rod, turn screws, striker key, round oil bottle, Purdey snap caps, extra firing pins etc, etc. even the original booklet. An absolutely wonderful gun that you can find no better.
