Description:
**SOLD** Shiloh Sharps (Big Timber, Montana) 1874 Hartford 50-90 (2.5") and may I say one Beautiful rifle!. Serial # is a B suffex and was received via Dealer (original buyer on letter) in 2008 but ordered in 1998 (10yrs!!). Rifle was a special order w/several options and all info is listed on factory letter: Extra-Fancy walnut stock, AAA finish, Steel checkered Buttplate, Fire Blue screws, Brass Escutcheons, Pack Hardened Finish and polished 32" Heavy BBl. w/standard front blade and Full Buckhorn rear**
** Buckhorn and front sight removed by my gunsmith to install the Long range Kelly Vernier rear sight and globe front (my apology, never ordered any extra inserts). The Buckhorn base was modified to fill in rear dovetail. So, if Buckhorn sight is to be re-installed I will order a new base for buyer at no cost!
Rifle also comes w/Factory letter I ordered ( rec'd it on 6/15/21) as mentioned above, Shiloh Catalog, Instruction paperwork, etc., fill-in screws, Die set (sized a few cases thats all) and 29 brass cases.
The rifle has been in my safe since purchased in June of 2021 and never fired it. The rifle is in Excellant shape no rust but there is some very small handling marks on butt stock. I tried to show in pics about 3. The receiver finish is fine as well as metal and after my inspection looks like it may have NOT have been fired or triggers been adjusted. Also, I prefer to SELL locally due to some horror stories lately and ( I shipped another Shiloh Long range 45-70 about 3-4 yrs ago by UPS I packed it good too but was recieved w/3" BBl. poking out of case!!! but no damage!!. The shippers just throw firearms around or steal them! BUT If shipping IS needed it will be shipped from my dealer to your FFl in a hard case AND insured!! Shipped to lower 48 states except NO Alaska (where my last Shiloh was sent w/BBl. sticking out) NO California or any other state that won't allow buyer to receive to dealer without any hassle/extra paperwork, etc. Buyer pays for shipping and Insurance. I will have to take it to my dealer to get cost est. to be around $150 (hopefully less) or so because of size, weight and insurance. All assessories will be shipped in separate pkg. ( no cost to buyer). Also, there is a 3-day NON SHOOTING/SNAPPING of TRIGGERS just general inspection and if returned the buyer pays shipping and insurance on the return. Today's cost for this rifle with Vernier and front hooded sights, Federal excise tax, sales tax, hard case and shipping is about $5,600.00+/- AND about a 2yr. wait!! Would consider a Lay-a-way if needed 25% down and balance payed within 90 days. IF DEFAULT down payment is Non-Refundable and any future payments WILL BE returned to buyer (I'll work w/buyer if needed to keep from losing the down payment if a few days ( a week max) is needed).
