Appointed with never before available features, the Fortieth Anniversary Supergrade 1911 in .45 ACP is the centerpiece of the collection. Praised for their exceptional quality and sought for their scarcity, the Supergrade represents our finest work and commitment to our rich history in the refinement of the 1911. This very special Supergrade is adorned with Mammoth Ivory Grips by Dan Chinnock, a silver bead front sight and has been given a high polished Baron blue finish with silver inlays. The word “Supergrade” is inlaid on the right side of the slide, the Wilson Combat logo inlaid behind the right rear cocking serrations, with “40 Years of Tradition” inlaid on the left side. The fortieth anniversary EDC X9 is representative of the innovative spirit of Wilson Combat. Our latest and most ambitious project to date, the EDC X9 meets the needs of modern shooting applications while maintaining the history and refinement of the classic 1911.
